The Park

The Park is a series of large format photographs taken of strangers in Seattle's Cal Anderson Park. Wiith each portrait I asked my subjects to write a statement about their lives. Next, using the images only, my collaborator, critic/filmmaker Charles Mudede, wrote  a series of  invented  statements to accompany each photograph. The resulting images and texts have been made into a short film with an original score written by Sean Ono Lennon and Tendai Maraire. The film is on view at Seattle's Hedreen Gallery through May 9th.
