Sunset Magazine's Idea Town 2013

I was chosen to create work for Sunset Magazine's first ever Idea Town in 2013. Four homes were built built by BC&J Architects and designed by Brian Paquette in the beachside community of Seabrook, Washington. These homes reflect Sunset's design aesthetic, from the nature-inspired color palette to the art on the walls. Brian asked me to travel to the coast to create a color study of the Quinault Rainforest and surrounding area. The resulting work was displayed in one of these homes. Brian studied the color and texture in my photographs to find fabrics, paints, and pieces of furniture that worked in conversation with the artwork. My work was published in the October Issue of Sunset Magazine.
